Mahindra e2o, the smarter and economical way to drive

“Mahindra motors” has done it again!!! The Indian car major has now become synonym

with innovation and cutting edge technology. Its latest product is Mahindra e2o, a smart

four-seater hatchback, which runs on electricity. Considering today’s pollution and

spiraling fuel costs, this car is certainly s smarter and cooler way to drive. Mahindra has

claimed that its running cost is just $1 per 100 kilometers. It may seem unbelievable, but

it is true. Moreover, the car goes to 100 kilometers with full charge and thanks to a

feature named ReVive, it can go upto 8 Kms with minimal charge.

Contrary to the stereotyped image of electric cars, Mahindra e2o is quite spacious. Four

adults can easily sit in the car and the car not only has built in mounts for the child seats

but has good boot space too. This makes it an excellent option for the city commuting.

Besides this, the car is absolutely perfect for people living in congested areas as it is

compact and very easy to maneuver in crowded places. The car has a state of the art

unique mobile app that indicates the driver about the state of charge as well as some other

functions and reminds him through messages. Not only the charge, one can even turn the

car on and off, plan a schedule and switch on and off the air-conditioner too. Lastly, it is

one of the safest cars on road. The car has a robust body, which is flanked by side impact

bars on the doors as well as rear fenders.

Thus a new flag bearer model has come up in a segment, which is still in its nascent

stage. However, it is believed that e2o will really go a long way, which will certainly

establish the brand as well as the whole segment.
