Magazine Evaluation.

Layout: The layout of this follows the route of the eye, which is conventional for magazines as you look at the primary optical area first and move down to the terminal area. It is also cluttered so you can read more on the magazine, which will interest people to what’s going to be inside it, and to get them more interested, which is also conventional as all magazines will have information on the front cover to show people what they’re going to be reading, and also gives off the genre of the magazine.

Image: The image on this is off a school girl, which you can see as she is wearing school uniform, this is going to be conventional for a school magazine. There are also small photos with headlines above, to draw attention and grab peoples eye.

Colour: The colour of this is mostly quite plain so you can see things more clearly, there are also spots of blue, to catch peoples eye, and to make the whole magazine look more interesting an stands out. The text is all white so you can read it clearly, and some is light blue on dark blue to make it contrast.

Mode Of Address: The language of this is quite informal so people know the target audience of this. There is also questions as the headlines to attract you and to wonder what’s happening in the magazine, but not give anything away.
