Turn Down the Screen Brightness

The backlight on the screen takes extra battery life - Use the F1 Key to reduce the brightness.

Keyboard Lights? This thing has keyboard lights?

Typing in the dark? Otherwise use the F5 to turn the keyboard lights off.

WIFI - POWER OVERWHELMING

WIFI Radio are always updating and refreshing. That takes a lot of power. When not in use, shut it off.

YouTube Blues

Video Rendering uses the WIFI Radio Graphics card and the CPU. Watching many

videos means a huge power drain

Use the Battery Settings

YOU can tweak the Power Settings to Turn Off monitors and hard-drives after a set time

Close the lid

This puts all functions into a sleep mode. Open the lid and the

system powers up in seconds.

It takes 15 seconds to power up a MacBook Air. This is the ultimate in Battery Conservation
