Living and Dying in Genes

There are so many people in the world

I do not know I feel alone

in the waves of the Earth

that carry the unison

of the palpitations of our hearts.

I have seen so many people

in my amniotic dreams

of cellular worlds without umbilical cords.

Some of them look like me

and have lived and died in my genes.
