Living a Full Life
A presentation by,
Lia Hadley and Rev. Wasike Walubengo
We, the children of the Community Breakthrough Support Mission, and the Kimilili community in Kenya, have so much to be thankful for.
We live in safety.
We have food to eat.
We have beds to sleep in.
We have a classroom to learn in.
But, more importantly, we have each other.
For we are part of the Kimilili community, where...
We extend a helping hand...
...when there’s work to be done.
We pray together...
...when someone is in need of solace.
We listen patiently...
...when someone is in trouble.
We talk to our teachers...
...so we can learn to read and write.
We talk to our councillors...
...so we might learn to get along better together.
We talk to our elders...
...so we might become as wise as they are.
Even though we have much, we still need more...
We need your ideas...
...about how to better our lives.
We need your prayers...
...to become better people.
If we all join hands...
...we surely will live full lives.
In return, we would love to share with youour stories, experiences, challenges, worries, joys, failures, and triumphs.
