Students will create a tableau

of the story “The Lion and the

Mouse” to become familiar

with the story and decide their

favorite part of the story.

After creating their tableau they

will write an opinion piece about

their favorite part of the story.

Teacher Reflection

Students were engaged and became quite good at creating different tableaus.

Students were able to identify their favorite part of the story easily because they were so familiar with the story due to their discussions while creating the different tableaus.

We had a lot of fun!
