Poster Magazine

Here I have linked the poster, magazine and trailer together. Throughout the trailer we used SFX make up. This was used to show how Sydney saw certain characters such as miss willow. Because Miss Chapel was the main villain in the trailer, She is featured on the poster and the magazine. This makes my groups trailer renowned for it’s characters and makes it more identifiable due to the consistent links.

The use of eyes is a very strong theme throughout our trailer ,magazine and poster as our trailer is all about what Sydney sees. This is all to do with the her perception and also the close ups portray the different character view points also the idea of the eyes being a window to the soul

My groups trailer name was displayed in the same font across all three media texts. This created consistency and made it identifiable across the different advertising platforms. The serif font related to the type of trailer it is and therefore conveyed the genre horror genre

On the trailer and the magazine we made sure the same logos were used for professional reason.

Empire magazine was the magazine we chose to use for our front cover. Also because we used empire magazine and our trailer is featured within it , we decided to add empire as a critic on our poster.

Also on the poster and magazine we used the forest like pattern to portray its eerie atmosphere. Also in the background of a shot we used in the trailer there is a forest.
