Board of directors Executive or Managing Director of a company come under the category of top management. The function performed by the top management is given as follows;

1.it lays down the objectives of the enterprise,

2. it prepares strategic plans and policies,

3.it coordinates activates,

4.they appoint the executives for the middle level

MIDDLE LEVEAL MANAGEMENT

All the functional departmental heads come under the category of

middle level managers. The function performed by the middle

level management is given bellow,

1.Maintain closer watch on day –

to –day result

Participate in operating decisions.

Implement the policy decisions made by the top management.

SUPERVISORY OR OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT

The bottom level managers come under this category .This level includes foreman, supervisors, finance and accounts officers sales officers etc. The main functions of supervisory managers are given bellow .

Assign workers to different jobs and task.
