Downfall of the Incas• The Incas experienced civil war within their

empire that weakened them.• Spanish Conquistador, Francisco Pizarro, led

his forces against the Inca to defeat them.• Similar to Cortes with the Aztecs, smallpox

was the leading cause of the downfall of the Incas.
