Let the class settle

The write, right or right game on ppt

Model the story of your morning. Be sure to include responsibilities and rights in this story

Select three students to read a section and assist the students to realise right and responsibilities are inherent in your day to day lives. See if they include interaction with the school or parents and highlight that they also have responsibilities and rights.

Model classroom rules that you would like included in the set the students are about to create.

Set up drawing, ICT so students can design their class rule

Set homework for next period and pack away

Quiz game, is the picture write, right or right?

Write a story telling us what you did on your way to school this morning up until now or draw it using a comic strip

Read a section on decide on the board whether that person has any responsibilities or a right to anything in that morning.

Students to think of three individually to then share in a pair and choose the top three between them.

As a class pick one rules each and design a poster of it to be displayed.
