Leicester Square is in London’s West End. The square is famous for its cinemas. It’s got six cinemas: Odeon, West End theater, Odeon West End, BFI max, Empire, Vue . There are more than 50 theatres nearby: Leicester Square, Alhambra…
The famous cinema is the Odeon. The Odeon has 1,700 seats! In this
theatre you can see premieres of new films.
In the middle of the square, there is a small park with statues of William Shakespeare and Charlie Chaplin in it. There are also a lot of restaurants, cafes and nightclubs in the square. They are especially busy on Friday and Saturday evenings. Leicester Square is well worth visiting – whether you are from London or a tourist.
Tverskaya street
Tverskaya street is in Moscow, the Russian capital. This street is famous for its cafes, hotels, statues, cinemas, theatres, churches.
In Tverskaya street there is a monument to A. Pushkin, a famous Russian writer. He is an author of many popular novels and poems.
