Learning phonics with happy way

• Phonics are very important for children, however, learning phonics are not easy.

• Some people think memory KK phonics well, but we think it is not a good way for children to remember ABC and / /,/b/,/k/ in nearly time because it will make them confuse.

• Moreover, we think children can learn KK phonics when they needed. (i.e. word’s phonics in dictionary)

Phonics & Stories• It is a good way for children to learn phonics

by stories.

• Make the phonics stories interesting is important because children like stories, so we can guide them into phonics with it.

• Every alphabet Aa, Bb, Cc is a family and they have different phonics from each others.

• Because they are 8-year-old children, the phonetic symbols of Chinese is nearly them, so we can add phonetic symbols into stories.

• Use these special phonics to create a interesting stories.

• When we meet like Aa and Ee’s phonics, the phonic of them alike each others. Hence, we should think some way and emphasize these to make children clearly.

• Aa ── Aa 是一個不禮貌的家庭，她喜歡張大嘴巴叫人「ㄟㄟㄟ」，他們最喜歡吃 apple 。

• Cc ── Cc 是一個看到人就笑咪咪的家庭，看到人就「ㄎㄎㄎ」的笑 ( 像野口的笑聲 ) ，他們最喜歡吃 cake 。

How to emphasize the difference?

• Aa ── Aa 是一個不禮貌的家庭，她喜歡張大嘴巴叫人「ㄟㄟㄟ」。

• Ee ── Ee 家庭的人喜歡笑嘻嘻地問 : 「ㄝ ~那是什麼 ? 」

Game time• To guess the sound is which family and read it

loudly. (let children be a teacher to test others)

• Use alphabet cards to let children play games. Moreover, teacher should prepare a toy mallet to let them touch the cards.

Special phonics

• Hh 家族的人都很可憐，每次遇到心儀的人都被拒絕，因為 h先生太愛ㄏㄏㄏ的傻笑。

• sh- 當 Hh 家族遇到 Ss 家族的人，他們實在受不了他的笑聲，都會「噓噓噓」得趕他走。

• ch- 當 Hh 家族遇到 Cc 家族的人，… . …. ，都會教他「去去去」得趕他走。

• th- 當 Hh 家族遇到 Tt 家族的人，… …，他們會學蛇吐出舌頭「斯斯斯」地把他嚇走

• ng- 因為 Nn 家族與 Gg 家族被巫婆下詛咒，每次兩家人一相遇就會鬧胃痛，…… . ，都要去廁所「ㄥㄥㄥ」。

How to teach “ch” sound• ch- / / or /k/

• We think it is not a good way to teach children the two phonics of “ch”, because it also will make them confuse, too.

• Hence, if we just want to teach “ch” sound, we just teach / / for chair, church, and so on.

• If we want to teach /k/ sound for school, we should take apart the teaching time from / / when we teaching.

How to teach “th” and “ng” sounds• The sounds of / / and / / is very special and

in Chinese we don’t have resemble phonics.• Moreover, the phonic way is different from

Chinese. • Hence, we should emphasize the two sounds

very clearly and use exaggerative actions to make them remember them.
