English sentences have a basic order: SUBJECT + VERB+ OBJECT+ MANNER+ PLACE + TIME

Adverbs of manner normally go after the direct object:

I read the letter carefully

If there is no direct object, the adverb usually goes after the verb:

She drove carefully

Look is a copula verb, followed by adjectives. It can mean “seem” or “appear”:

The garden looks nice

We can also use: look like+noun - You look like your mother

look+as if + clause – You look like as if you

had a bad day

With compounds ending in –body, or –one, the verb agrees in the 3rd singular person. However, we use the plural word “they”, “them” when we do not specify the sex of the person
