Masthead

My master head is going to be called ‘Classroom’ because the magazine is a school magazine so it relates well. The front I am going to use is Rockwell. Here is a preview of it: Classroom. The reason Have chose this is because it is very easy on the eye but is also very big and clear. Something a masthead needs to be to be able to attract attention.

Main image

The main image will take up a lot of the front cover. This is because the main image is one of the min selling points of a magazine. Whenever anyone picks up a magazine they automatically look to the main image and if it is interesting then it will tempt them into buying it.

Main cover line

The main cover line needs to be big, bold and colourful. This will sell the image as they relate to each other. It needs to sell the image as really fascinating and interesting. If it isn't then people will not be interested in buying. The font I may use is Arial rounded MT bold. Here is a preview: Main Cover Line. This font is big, bold and eye catching. I will also use colour but i have not decided which yet.

Additional cover lines

These are other big stories in the magazine but are not as big as the min story. These can also be big and bold but not as big as the main cover line. Some additional cover lines include small pictures.
