Good Teens

Teens that act good set a good impression. Good

teens are treated more respectfully than bad teens.

They aren’t ignored or kicked out of places. Good teens

usually listen, look welcoming, and do nice things like

help carry in other peoples groceries, cut lawns, volun-

teer some where. So in return they don’t want to be

judged right away even though they’re a teen. You

should get to know a teen or better yet any one before

you decide to judge them.

11

Teens that act bad usually don’t set a good im-

pression. They shouldn’t get treated as nicely as nice

teens because they don’t work that hard to try to get

respect. Usually teens think of themselves as “cool” and

usually ignore people, be disrespectful, try to hurt peo-

ple, and don’t care about anyone but their selves and

their friends. It’s still not okay to judge someone no

matter how bad they act. Just think what if they have

had rough times and a family member died, or they are

treated bad themselves so they think they have to do

the same. But anyways this teen isn’t the type of teen to

be.

Everyone has

had a bad day!

Page 13: Lauren and alana language arts project

Lauren’s notes

I haven’t really had bad experience

with adults! I have just learned to like

and love myself. So just be yourself

no matter what anyone says. You will

have your good days and you will

have your bad days, but keep

fighting. One day you can be best

friends and the next you can be in a

fight. So just know you not alone!!

Page 14: Lauren and alana language arts project

14

Alana’s note

Its okay to be different. Everyone will have

good days and bad days. Just know that

you have to fight the bad days to get to the

good days. This is like when I was selling

candy with some of my friends, and they

told us they wouldn’t do business until I

got off their lawn because I was a teen.

Now that I look back at it I know they are

teen bias. Don’t let it get to you, if you

have had a bad experience with teen bias

adults. They might have had a bad experi-

ence with teens before meeting you.

15

Are you different? If

yes than that is okay. If

no, well then your lying.

Everyone is suppose to

be different. You can

have similarities but

you can’t be the exact

same. No one is like

you, no matter what.
