Factors to evaluate in expressive language

• level of vocabulary (specific, nonspecific, simple, quality, variety)

• spoken grammar skills -‐ eg. verb tenses, sentence length, complex sentences, conjunctions

• sequence, cohesion and logical order • ideas and sentences make sense • descriptive language
