• Manta is one of the main cities of Ecuador.• The last Major Jaime Estrada wanted innovation for the city.

It has approximately 30 years.There are 23 transport coorperatives, each one with 25 buses:There are 16 platforms.No public toilets.Disorganizations.

They analized 3 important aspects:The feasibility of the building of a new Land Terminal.The location.The economy of the city and the capacity to invest.

Transit Agency determined: Input Frequencies need 1994. Output frequencies need 966.

This new terminal will have more than 40 locals, these locals will be rented:Commercial locals: $250 per m2.Local food: $300 per m2.

The company that was in charge of the manage the new terminal was “EMPRESA MUNICIPAL TRANSPORTES Y TERMINALES JOCAY-EP”.

Through a competition in public procurement portal, the company Eseico S.A. was chosen for the construction of the terminal.

Although there is the auditor party, that was chosen by the public procurement portal too, the consortium "Consudilsa".

Politics Problems The work needed 5 mill ion dollars more to be finished.

The work ended with an advance of 57% with the new price. With the price of the beginning the work would have an advance of 92%.The intention is to be a multimodal terminal.

The new manager of the company Jocay want to invest in the old terminal. Change the location of the terminal to "Urbirrios“. It would not be feasible

because of the size, because in 10 years it will be within the city and will cause chaos, congestion.
