Who Am I? Spider monkeys live in

the rainforest. They don’t make nests

or homes because theymove a lot.

The are quite flexible. Their lifespan in the

wild is about twenty-seven years.

They sometimes usetheir tail as an extrahand.

The Early Years A female is able to give birth

when they are four to five. The baby is continuously

carried in the front and atabout five months of age itwill begin to ride on herback.

It will ride for two years. The adults are mostly out

exploring or chasing,grappling, and jumping withtheir same age or withadults.

Spider monkeys have a nicehome.

They live in evergreenrainforests, and mangroverainforest.

They mostly live in theupper canopy rainforest. Ithink they like theirrainforest in the wild.

which means they don’t liveon the ground.

When they are standing onlookout, they use their strongtail to support them.

The tail is used as an extrahand.

It moves from place to placeby swinging from tree to tree.
