The New PG Outlook• From 5 PG to 1 PG

– The 5PG was “an experiment for KMP2P” at start– The committee never can guarantee the right steps, but we can

guarantee the right change whenever necessary

• A more close relationship with only 1 PG• Ideas & execution in one and same group

Member Approval ProcessRecently we are facing with new FB group member approval challenges• Requests to join our FB group

– We are a closed group but external parties can request to join, subject to our approval

– We accept MScKM graduates & students, but no clearly defined strategy for other people

• Suggest to have a “membership approval” discussion in every new PG meeting to decide

• Execution by FB manager after decision• Update info on our website & FB group

KMP2P in Grad Dinner• We have members who are both graduates of the year and

KMP2P member, but as a community or as a future society, we need to think from the perspective “What KMP2P need to do as a society” in this important opportunity and annual event

• If KMP2P want to continue, new members and participations are our sustainability

• Even though we don’t have much activity now, we need to connect with the new graduates & students, even as alumni. I am sure they also like to connect with the alumni too.

• In upcoming 1 November Graduation Dinner, I suggest:– Distribution of a 1-page information sheet from the name of KMP2P. Of

course, we should get approval and consensus from the organizing committee– Create a process to accept membership on the spot. A connected tablet will

do, using our existing form on the web. Somebody from KMP2P need to be there to work on it, and a wireless connection is needed.

Some Recommendations• For each meeting or events

– Remote joining sessions be available if appropriate, not only for me from Beijing, but also for others who cannot physically arrive.

– We just need a fully-charged mobile device with WiFi connection.

– Make recording review possible. E.g. YouTube (closed group)

• Contribution of “topic of discussions / agenda” from all PG members prior to meetings– Simply use Google docs accessible by all members (Write)– Keep it open and viewable by other members (Read)– Posted on our website so other members can view or
