Khan Academy A Teachers Guide to KHANACADEMY.ORG
Intro
In this course you will be learning how to use and implement the khanacademy learning system. By using this system you will be actively improving your students skills in many different areas of study. Khan academy started out with Sal Khan a hedge fund worker turned tutor to his niece. Word got out about his awesome tutoring he created videos and would post them to site called YouTube. Khan Academy is a non profit organization funded by wealthy entrepreneurs and received a large grant from Google and the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation in 2010. This site has improved student confidence and teacher communication with students and other educators.

Find a way to log in
Step 2 Find the Coach tab
Creating a Class
Create a name
Then click “Create Class”
Click on the icon
Choosing the objective for the class
In the top left corner after you have created your class you will see an icon. Click that icon and you will get a drop down menu of all the objectives to choose from.

Step 4 Change your objective to Precalculus

Type email of student you would like to add in your classIf student is under the age of 13 they will need their parents email.If student already has a Khanacademy account you simply give the the class code

Step 2 Type in your email address
Step 3 Add your self to the class created earlier (Math)

This is your menu that you will be using to check your students data.
Can be found in the student Progress tab on top left corner in coach Menu
