Cyber Bullying is when a child, preteen or teen is tormented, threatened, harassed, humiliated, embarrassed or otherwise targeted by another individual using the Internet, another interactive technologies

Cyber Bulling is done with the use of the following:

E-mail Cell Phones – text messages or

picture messages Chat rooms Social Networking site –MySpace,

Facebook, bebo, twitter and formspring.me

Anonymity: is when someone makes threatening comments to you, but is able to hide who they are. Exclusion: Intentionally leaving someone out of online groups or chat rooms.Flaming: is an intense argument, that normally takes place in chat rooms, over instant messages or email.

Harassment: Repeatedly sending offensive, rude, and insulting messages at though out the day.Masquerading: is an elaborate form of cyber bullying where the bully pretends to be someone who they aren’t.Outing: is the public display or forwarding of personal communications such as text messages, emails or instant messaging.

Whether bullying is done in person or online, it will always be a threatThere can be more done to prevent bullying such as school programs that teach kids consequences and harder lawsIn closing I want to leave you with this statistic, 25% of females and 16% of males have been bullied online in 2009.
