At the top of this package there is a puff, this is a lure as there is a model the buyer can make

The colour scheme consists of yellow,

Band members as the main image are staring at you, this is inviting

feel invited into knowing a secret that maybe no one else knows

mean that they are very important

a buzz word and written in yellow on a red background to stand out

‘NIRVANA’ is written the same as the logo of the band is. It is yellow

and stands out, almost like a flash of light catch someone’s eye.

The main image and the

masthead is in black and white, connoting old times, which would be appropriate as Nirvana was an old band. And as the main guitarist and singer died in 1994, black and white can also

connote death or looking back on memories of Nirvana.

As Nirvana were big in the 90’s, this could be appealing to the elder generation as well and the

that a lot of teenagers use nowadays. And as it’s informal and a caption next to a modern singer, this can be attractive to people interested in modern

music. Especially as this band has a new album out soon!

‘Ultimate Rock Star Test’ this is attractive because who doesn’t want to be a rock star?

This is good as decoration for the page and fills up blank space

Nirvana. The reader will see this and wonder why the lyrics were dark. Fans love to get as much information from celebrities as they can

Old photographs of Nirvana and the late Kurt Cobain are spotted around the double page spread

with captions. Usually in ‘Kerrang!’ they are humourous

The colour scheme consitsof red, yellow and black. These are all colours that feature on the cover of one of their albums ‘In

Utero’. This keeps a continuous theme across this double page spread.
