WHAT WE NEED TO DOComprehend  the pace of change in our environment. Adapt at the academia leadership level and create a

system to foster growth related to this change.

Some of the changes we observe today are :- The impact of globalization that creates awareness, desire and expectations Continuous challenge of up skilling to prosper in an increasingly competitive markets   Social change and diversity Increasing scrutiny and public accountability of performance Increasing expectations about the provision of high quality services.

empowering culture.Encourage discussion,  professional arguments,

disagreements, proposals , questioning and challenge

Develop a maturity and understanding that  sometimes you need to be in the chorus rather than out front, to win.

To create leaders of change, you cannot leave it to chance. The effort has to be directional and deliberate….we need to learn how to lead and be fully involved in self-evaluation and continuous improvement to ensure the right management capacity of staff.
