Professional Experience

Joseph Hundeby has many years of experience in the field of education.

He obtained his Bachelor's of Education from Iowa Wesleyan College, and then went on to receive a Master's of Education from the University of Minnesota, where his studies revolved around Teacher Leadership.

He is experienced with school-wide assessments in Special Education; researched and practiced background with assessment with the Woodcook Johnson and a variety of school wide assessment programs.

Course Offerings

He implemented, maintained and created 16 academic course offerings in the software program Plato for the Alternative Learning Center (ALC).

He modified the general education curriculum for special needs students, based upon a variety of instructional techniques and technologies.

He has participated in a range of advanced learning classes and has taken more than a dozen courses relating to Special Education. He is dedicated to serving the needs and best interests of a diverse student body..

Way of Teaching

Joseph Hundeby not only rely on movies and textbooks to drive the material home to his students. He believes in taking an old subject and presenting it in an intriguing way.

He devotes himself to bringing the elements of a particular culture, thus making it easier for his pupils to feel fully immersed in the lesson.

When the pupils study the climate of a tropical island, he helps the kids to truly believe that they have traveled to this part of the world and this methods makes his classroom a memorable and dynamic learning experience.

He values a hands-on different approach to teaching his pupils. His philosophy towards teaching is aimed at preparing his pupils for a local and global future.

promote development in the classroom.

He has served as an educator, administrator and a coach and
