Wojtyła, one of the best popes in history of Christianity. He was born on 18th May 1920 in Wadowice in Poland. He was elected for pope on 16th October 1978.

He could speak 8 languages:-Polish-English-Italian-French-German-Spanish-Portuguese-RussianHe travelled all over the world.

On 13th May 1981, John Paul II was wounded by Mehmet Ali Acya. Karol Wojtyła was in hospital for 22 days, but to his death, he never was healthy as before.

He died on 2nd April 2005 in his bedroom in Vatican. He was 85 years old and he was pope for 27 years.
