!e Lab at Harvard is a three-year experiment to explore how cultural exhibition within common university spaces can catalyze student idea development in the arts and design at the frontiers of science and engineering.

As a Fellow at The Laboratory at Harvard, I helped to co-found an experimentation platform for the intersection of arts and sciences. I loved building, managing small, high-energy teams, and pushing traditional boundaries with creativity and interdisciplinary-learning at Harvard and beyond.

!e Lab partnered with Project on Spatial Studiesto create !ree States of Hors D’oeuvres, a component of the LAB Launch event. Project on Spatial Sciences enabled visitors to spatially consume taste, smell, and knowledge from an affective, and educational experience.

This past year, as Project Manager of the Idea Translation Lab in Cape Town, I led and designed Harvard’s first experiential education and design fellowship program in Cape Town, South Africa, where I developed partnerships with local engineers, designers, artists, and entrepreneurs to collaborate on human-centered design projects with our students. I also created and taught curriculum on user research and project design, and thrived on my ability and independence to shape this project, and the transformative experiences of my students in such a creative international environment.
