Reflection and Refraction.
By: Jaqui
Reflection. The light from the flashlight is
hitting the mirror and bouncing to the paper and
that's reflection because the
mirror is opaque.
Light traveling in a straight line.
The light is traveling in a straight line because it's only
hitting my hand and it's not going all
over the place. Also you don't see the light on the floor
just my hand.
Water Reflecting Refraction.
The light is passing through the water. As it's passing it's slowing down
and it's Refracting. Refraction
Reflecting
The light from the sun is shining at the mountain and
bouncing back to our eyes and you can see that in the
water. The mountain’s reflection is on it.
Prism & mirror. When we shined the laser
on the prism. Since the prism is transparent the
light of the laser shines and slows down so it refracts. Refracts means it bends.
The light hits the mirror and it bounces off of the mirror.
At the same angle.
When we shined the laser at the mirror what happened was
that it shined and then it bounced back at the same
angle.
