Def. to give careful attention to a particular problem or situation and concentrated on any problems (danger, trouble) might happen.

Vilgilantes are the people who are organized to protect their communtity and to catch and punish criminals.

Ardent

Def. To have extremely strong feeling about someone or something.

She was the most ardent fan of that singer. Whenever they appears in TV, she yells and cries.

Somber

Def. Dark and forming a gloomy and depressed atmosphere.

Why are you decorating the party with somber colors? It forms scary and gloomy mood!

Ambition

Def. To have a dream and want very much to do or achieve it.

If you have a ambition of your dream and eager to do it, I bet you can finally reach your goal and achieve it.

Eminent

Def. A well- known and lofty that are outstanding and distinguished easily.

You should take his class for this semester. He is an eminent and the most famous professor in our university.

Intoxicating

Def. To contain alcohol and make you drunk.

He appears to be intoxicated and drunked when he came back to house.

Commendation

Def. The give compliment, praise or to give an award.

Teacher gave me commendation of hardworking and being honest.

Intone

Def. To slow and in serious way with most of the words in one pitch.

The preacher read the bible intonely which touched several people’s mind deeply.

Impression

Def. An way that you think they are like after having seen or heard them.

I was deeply impressed of his drawings which the sky and the land forms harmony attractively.

Obligation

Def. A duty, task or job that you have to do.

If you don’t finish your obligation, I will take points of from your grade and give extra homework.

Succumbing

Def. To do something that you want to do, or that other people want you to do.

To be a respectable person,you should not be succumbed at tempation of money or authority.

Confining

Def. To restrict in movement.

My mom confined my computer time to 1 hour.

Agog

Def. To be excited about something, and eager to know more about it.

Students were all agog of the upcoming social.

Gesticulated

Def. To make movements with your arms or hands.

When she saw the boat sailing toward the island, she gesticulated by jumping and shaking her hand for help.
