Jan WerichJan Werich was born 6 th February 1905.His parents were Gabriela and Vlastislav Werichovi.His parents broke up after a few years and little Jan lived with his father.His father worked as a clerk in the insurance company.Jan Werich was married on 1. 7. 1929 and his wife was Zdeňka Housková (Werichová).Before World War II, he decided to emigrate to the U.S.A and he returned in 1945. His daughter Jana was born on 18. 10. 1935.Zdeňka Werichová died after a severe illness in 14. 4. 1980.Jan Werich died of lung carner on 31. 10. 1880.

He and theatherJan Werich began playing the theater with his friend Jiří Voskovec.They payed From year 1927 to year 1938 in Osvobozené Divadlo.He was a director of the theater ABC from year 1955.His new partner was Miroslav Horníček.They played theatre plays Balada z Hadrů and Těžká Barbora.
