The title of our film is ‘JACK’ this is because these are the first letters of all the characters names. Our movie is about a group of teenagers who decided to go to a music festival and also decide to camp there. What they don’t expect is to face obstacles on the way. The opening of the film shows the four characters getting ready and packing all of their stuff for the trip. What they don’t expect is for one of their friends to bring something dangerous. The movie follows the group of teenagers on their trip while they get separated, lost and killed one by one. Our film genre is teen horror and our idea has been inspired by Prom night, The Blair witch project and The bling ring.

We have decided to use both of these in our own film. They are both very different types of music so therefore we would use them for the different situations.

This is our production schedule: Tuesday 11th- Recording the scene of the

nerd. Wednesday 12th- Recording the scene of the

jock Wednesday 19th- Recording the scene where

they all meet and travel. Thursday 20th- Recording the scene at Lee

Valley.

When taking out the equipment we will do this as a group.

While filming in the park we will find stable ground to place the tripod on.

When filming we will only take out equpitment that we will need.

We will bring an umbrella just in case it starts to rain.

We will return all filming equipment as soon as we finish filming.

When we first started media in September we did not know a lot about editing, software or equipment. Ever since September we have learnt about different camera shots and angles. We have learnt how to use filming equipment properly and we have also learnt how to edit our films. We have been taught how to edit using Final Cut Pro.

We have done some research and have found out that Screen gems would be a production company who would produce our film. Over the years Screen Gems have produced many teen horror films including prom Night, Carrie and the Roommate. Screen Gems is a production company which has become very famous, If they did produce our film then this would attract viewers.

Institutional detail

Our target audience is teenagers from the ages of 13 to 18. We have picked this to be our target audience as our film is a teen horror film. Our film is based on the story of four teenagers going on a camping trip, This would appeal to teenagers because it might be something that they are able to relate too.
