•As a core thrust of SMU, the research outputs like the “Adoptive Strategies of IWAKs of Kayapa” are in its optimum utilization.
•The three-fold function of the university, Education, Research, and Extension, guarantees that every research output should and must be replicated and integrated in basic education and tertiary education.
RESEARCH UTILIZATION
•In fact, the research outputs such as the adoptive strategies of the IWAKs are already reflected in the syllabus of three areas (Local History, Anthropology and Tourism). •In addition, the university is using the IWAK research output as the take off point for discussion in the on-going development plan for similar cultural research projects in Anthropology, Local History, and Tourism Research.
• As an extension service, the university is partnering with the local government unit and the Barangay Local Government Units(BLGUs) for the proper dissemination and sound technical supervision and assistance most specially in areas that need assistance(Technology transfer and capability building).
• SMU has implemented extension activities on technology transfer and capability building initiatives for the IWAKS based on the recommendations of the research.
