• Pioneer was the first railway carriageto introduce dining cars and sleepingcars in train leading to more comfortduring travelling especially a longdistance journey.

• Pullman Car Company was founded in1880 and was one of the leading luxurypassenger railroad car providers

• In 1867 he introduced “hotel car”.

• In 1875 he built a luxurious “parlorcar,” which offered an upscale travelingexperience.

• First passenger train of the worldwas run in England
