HISTORY

Its an acquisition of Air Sahara.

On 12th April 2007, Jet Airways agreed to buy out Air Sahara for 14.5 billion.

After that Air Sahara was renamed as Jet Lite.

In August 2008, Jet Airways announced its plans to completely integrate Jet Lite into Jet Airways.

Jet Airways current aircraft colour pattern was introduced in 2007.

After the arrivals of new Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A330-200 aircraft, Jet Airways has introduced a new cabin with upgraded seats in all classes.

FIRST CLASS:- Its available on all Boeing

777-300ER. Have private suites and all

seats is 29 inch widescreen LCD monitor with audio-video on demand system (AVOD), in seat power supply and USB ports etc.

PREMIER/ BUSINESS CLASS:-Its both on Airbus A330-200 and Boeing 777-300ER international fleet has a fully-flat bed with AVOD entertainment.Seats are configured in herringbone pattern with each seat offering direct access to the aisle. USB ports are given to the passengers too.In seat laptop power are provided.

ECONOMY CLASS:- Economy class on the Airbus A330-200 and BOEING 770-300ER has 32 inch seat pitch.All Boeing 777-300er/Airbus A330-200, as well as some Boeing 737 Next Generation aircraft have a touch screen AVOD System.

CATERING:- Offers both Indian and Western cuisine on most flights.

JET SCREEN:-Jet Airway’s Panasonic Ex2 in- flight entertainment system called “Jet Screen” offers AVOD and system operates via individual touch screen monitor, available in all classes.

JET AIRWAYS LOUNGES:-Offered to first & premier class passangers, along with JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold or Silver card members.

JET PRIVILEGE:-Jet privilege is Jet Airway’s frequent flier program. A frequent flyer program (FFP) is a loyalty program offered by many airlines. Jet privilege offers 5 tiered membership levels. New members begin their membership at the JP Blue level, move up to the JP Blue Plus tier and then on the elite tiers Silver, Gold and Platinum.
