• Name: Abu Al Walid Muhammad Bin Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Ahmad Bin Ahmad Bin Rushd

• POB: Cardova, Andalusia or Spain

• DOB: Roughly between 476-1000 AD

• Known as : - Pendita Abu Al Walid

- Averroes (in the western world)

• Specialty: In Islamic laws and medicine

• Appointed a judge in Seville in 1169

• Loved reading, studying and composing literary works

• His philosophy of life:

- Live moderately without worry of clothing, property or the future

- Show kindness to all even your enemies

- Be humble especially to the poor but show concern for your own some dignity and self-worth
