A group of journalism students in London went out to ask some members of the public on their views regarding the way Islam and Muslims are being portrayed in the media, especially after the recent events in Boston.
Searching the tabloids using the keyword ‘Islam’, it is very difficult to find positive
articles about Muslims and Islam
If we only see negative images in the media of a group, it gives society negative attitudes towards
that group
What effect may this have?
