Custom Design - Jo’burg skyline

The Johannesburg skyline is gilded in 24ct gold and palladium plating and features the following landmarks: the 52-storey Carlton Centre; the Nelson Mandela Bridge; the Johannesburg Stadium; the Old Johannesburg Stock Exchange; Ponte City; and the 270-metre high Hillbrow Tower. The globe is filled with 24ct gold flakes and rests on an elegant 24 carat gold plated base. These Glitter Globes are beautiful souvenirs and an attractive addition to any collection.

Quotations: Our quotations are market related and are based on a full understanding of the processes involved in our waxless moulding and casting system.

Origination, Model Making and Master Patterns: We are experienced in originating three dimensional patterns from artwork, CAD/CAM sketches, or samples. To achieve the required result we use a multitude of materials such as metal, resin or wood.

Moulds (Tooling): We specialize in making our moulds in the following materials:• Silicone Rubber• Vulcanized Rubber• Resin• Alpha/Beta plaster• Investment Plaster• Ceramics

Each material is used for a particular application and we adapt the tooling and techniques to suit each project.

Licensing: We are in the process of licensing certain of our moulding and casting processes. The casting technology transfer project aims to benefit the rural community based jewelry Small and Micro Enterprises (SME’s).

We combine traditional skills with state of the art technology and produce internationally competitive products.

We have our own expanding range of exclusive products. We are also able to manufacture pieces on commission.

Our Technology

The traditional process of casting is the lost wax method used globally by jewellers and foundry engineers.We have developed a waxless moulding and casting system.
