Birth and school

Isabella was born in 1451

She died in 1504

Girls did not get a good education when Isabella was a little girl

Her education was limited

Her mom became depressed when Isabella was born and locked herself in a castle and died there.


Early Life of Isabella

When Isabella was three her Dad died

Her half brother Henry IV took care of her

Isabella had a hard life as a little girl without her dad or mom

She spent most of her time in the village in her town

Isabella was a strong willed, smart, and a devoted catholic


Marriage of Isabella

Queen Isabella met prince Ferdinand prince of Aragon in1469 age 18

After two hours of meeting Prince Ferdinand They both agreed to mary.

they lived a happy life together

Isabella became queen of Spain in 1474 age 23


Death of Isabella

In 1504 nov.26.2011 Isabella became ill

She ruled from her bed for a few months and wrote her last will and testament before she died

that was the end of the era


Exploration

Columbus settled in Seville wanting to persuade the Spanish to finance his journey across the Atlantic.

Isabella was the only person to take interest in his trip across the atlantic so she financed his voyage.

The spanish went with Columbus and the Native Americans


Exploration

All of a sudden all of the Natives got sick

know one knew what was causing this

But they found out that it was from the Spanish


Unifying Spain

Isabella was a devoted Catholic so devoted that she made everyone convert to being a catholic

She did not ask nicely she demanded

if The muslims and jews did not convert to Catholic she would kill them or torture them

some people left Spain or got kicked out

This effected families by loosing jobs and not being able to feed there family.
