Family Portal Roll-Out

The SchoolMAX Family Portal will include student information about the following:

Attendance Schedule Gradebook Progress Report Discipline My Profile – to update passwords, view

parent address & phone number

Who:

When:

How:

To ensure that all family members can have access to accurate information about their PGCPS student(s) via the web 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Currently, the pilot schools – J Frank Dent ES, Walker Mill MS, Bowie HS

Later, All Schools, All Students, All Families HS – by 3rd Quarter ES, MS – by end of the current school year Schools will serve as the primary source of

parental support

About the Family Portal:

How to prepare: Ensuring student data is accurate prior to

implementation is paramount! SchoolMAX school-based administrators –

verify accuracy of all data in Attendance, Scheduling, Discipline, and Grades, as needed

Teachers – verify accuracy of all Assignments, Scores, Comments, etc. in the Gradebook
