Press sleep/wake to put iPad to sleep. Press and hold the sleep button then swipe to

• Slide to unlock• Spotlight Search• Orientation• Creating Folders• Screenshots• Control Center• Split Keyboard

Organizing Apps• Press and Hold on an App until it Jiggles and
an X appears in the corner.
• Once apps are dancing you can click and drag to rearrange
• Drag on top of each other to make folders
• Drag to the Dock your most used Apps
• Click on the X to delete an app from the iPad (Don’t worry the App will still be in your iTunes Account)

The Claw: 5 finger swipe to close an app
App Switch: 4 finger swipe sideways
Control Center: 1 finger swipe up from bottom of iPad
Spotlight Search: 1 finger swipe down from top

App Management
• Create an Apple ID for your Class Set of iPads. (Even if you already have an Apple ID/iTunes Account for your iPhone my suggestion is to create a new one)
• This can be done on your laptop by going to iTunes - Store - Create Apple ID
• Use school District Email or create a new Google Account

App ManagementOn each student iPad:
1. Add the iTunes Account Settings - iTunes & App Store
2. Under Automatic Downloads turn on Apps
This will install any app downloaded with this Apple ID to automatically sync to all iPads.
