The buttons on the ipad are: the Power button, silent/screen rotation, volume buttons + up and - down, and the main button is the home button.
The accessories that come with your ipad are the USB power adapter and lighting cable.
Unlocking/ lock screen features
Unlocking/ lock screen features
To unlock your ipad, press on the home button or on the power button. Then simply just slide and enter your your passcode if you have one.

When sliding to unlock, after you slide and enter your passcode it takes you where you left off. You can take quick pictures right from the lockscreen. You can view Notification center and control center. Even see the time and the date with the day of the week.

To turn on your ipad you press the power button once. (Already turned off.) To turn off press the power button and hold it till it says, “slide to power” To wake up your ipad from sleep mode just press on the home or power button once.

One way to make sure that you are connected to wifi look at the top of your screen. You should see a little two long wavy lines next to the ipad lettering. If not go to settings, Wi-Fi, then press on Masonic Public without a lock.

Your apple ID is a User name for lot’s of things. For example to download apps and facetiming all require an Apple ID.
