1)(A) Start by searching the App Store for “LibAnywhere”. (B) Install App on phone.

2) (A) Open the App. (B) Select “Find libraries near you”. (Tip: if not geographically near your library do a manual search through “Browse all libraries”)

3) (A) Select your library. (B) This will bring up the Wake County home page. Notice the link to AskWCPL, which can assist with any queries.

4) (A) Notice links to library system’s Facebook and Twitter pages (B) First, we’ll search location, select “Hours and locations”.

5) (A) This gives hours, address, and link to Google Maps. (B) Back at homepage, select “My Account” to login to your account.

6) (A) Enter Library card number & PIN. (B) This brings up your account. Next, we’ll search the catalog & place a hold. Select search box.

7) (A) This will bring up the search screen. (B) There is also a choice of search categories.

8) (A) We’ll search for “Dead or Alive”. (B) Select the record for the book. (Tip: notice the first is an eBook and the second an audiobook)

9) (A) Select “Place Hold”. (B) Press “Select” for a list of libraries.

10)(A) Select your library & press “Submit Request”. (B) Notice the hold was successfully placed.
