Introduction to my Artist Louis Warner is an 18 year old male who lives in West London, Hounslow, and is better known for his stage name; Rapid L. He still lives with his mum and dad but is close to signing to a major record label in the coming months. He is half Caribbean, from his dad’s side and half British from his mother’s side. As mentioned before, he was born and raised in Hounslow, the rougher end of west London, meaning he was frequently on the streets getting involved with dangerous crimes and gangs. But not he has matured and is ready to become a successful rap artist so he is no focusing on his rap talent he has. As a result of growing up on the streets, Louis did not spend much time focusing on his education and dropped out when he was 16 with only Maths and English at GCSE. He then become more involved in the gangs and nearly got sent to prison because of this. But now he is ready to leave that life and start fresh for his family as he feels he has let them down in the past and he wants to make his parents proud. He started rapping at a young age, frequently attending underground rap battles amongst the youth of West London. From this he managed to be entered into a major tournament for rap battling to find out who the best underground rapper there is in London. He didn’t win this event but he finished runners up just losing out on the 1,000 prize on first place. He thought this was his one shot to fame and so went back to the streets on Hounslow. However his life did a massive U-turn because a few weeks later he received an email from a producer who wanted him to come down to his studio in West London to ‘spit some bars’ (rap), he was thrilled to say the least. Luckily for Rapid this producer happened to watch the final rap battle and actually wanted Louis to win so this is why he got in touch. From the streets to a mixtape from a well-known producer, he was over the moon. He started getting fans and making small rap videos on his YouTube account which started getting a good amount of views. This is how he got recognised from different magazines who wanted to get a hold of him to put him on the front covers. This publicity gained him

This publicity gained him respect from not only the streets but big record labels and now he is waiting to seal the deal with one. Watch out for Rapid L.
