Vision of Alumni Chapters all around the World
Easily founded and led by KAIST international alumni, with help from current country-based student
associations at KAIST
International in KIAA means worldwide, so it is for both international and Korean alumni
- There are already alumni associations geared to Korean alumni (naturally), but we strongly believe our association should remain desegregated between internationals and Koreans at KAIST and at Local and International Chapters we establish.
- Initially it may seem like an association driven by just international students, but Koreans are welcome to join and assist us (even perform crucial roles, such as organizing job fairs with Korean companies).
Membership
The Association has the following categories of members:
(1) Regular members and
(2) Honorary members
(1) Regular members are those
(i) Who have received degree(s)/diploma(s) awarded by KAIST, herein referred to
as the alumni, and have registered with KAIST International Alumni Association.
(ii) Faculty members who have served KAIST.
(2) Honorary members
Honorary membership shall be conferred on
(i) All the past directors of KAIST as well as post-docs.
(ii) Eminent personalities honored by KAIST or the persons of eminence
who have not received any degree from KAIST but have contributed
immensely or have shown a keen interest for the development of KAIST and its alumni associations.
