* We are part of the Official Language Schools Network, a group of public centres devoted to the teaching of foreign languages.
* We depend on our Autonomous Government: Junta de Andalucía.
* Our position among other public teaching institutions is rather difficult to pinpoint:

Tuition is almost free. Our students pay about 50€ for a complete course. (Mid-September to the end of June). They are also eligible for small grants, to pay for course materials and transport.
We can’t take decisions concerning the syllabus we teach, evaluation of students, the general organisation of the school…everything has to be done in accordance to the “Junta” rules.

14 is the minimum age to enter the school, 16 if the chosen language is the same being learned at Secondary School.

How are the courses organised?
The levels are established according to the Common European Reference Framework.
*Basic Level (A2) Years 1 and 2. *Intermediate Level (B1) Year 3. *Advanced Level (B2) Years 4
and 5.

elected among all the teachers in the school who present their candidacies.
She is assisted by a Head of Studies and a Secretary.
The teachers belong to the French (2+1), German (2+1/2), or English department (6+2 ½+ 5+2). 14+ teachers.

approved by the School Board: students, parents, teachers, and other personnel, chosen by election, under the presidency of the Headteacher.
Every decision related to teaching and learning has to be approved by the Teachers Board, before being presented to the School Board.

Departments have weekly meetings.
The Department Board (Heads of Departments, Head of Studies, Headteacher) meets once a month.
The Teachers Board meets once a term.
