Our school

This is an accredited state secondary school which started in a different building in 1998.

In 2009, we moved to our current location

to a brand new colourful building.

Location

Our school is located in the province of Huelva, South West Spain on the Atlantic coast. It is a mere 5 minutes from the city center and 30 minutes from the Portuguese border.

Our name...

Our school is named after Juan Antonio Pérez Mercader, an internationally renowned expert in physics, cosmology and astronomy from Huelva.

People

Nowadays we have approximately 400 students distributed in 4 grades.

The staff consists of approximately 30 teachers, a secretary and janitorial services.

Studies

Our student body generally comes from two primary schools in the catchment area. Here, students continue their compulsory education for the next four years.

Next year we will also begin Baccalaureate studies.
