Authenticity

• For our soap we have decided to base the entire trailer around a managers post match conference. We created an advertisement board to create an authentic feel to our interview (something we felt was imperative). We did this as it creates very realistic iconography.

Graphics• Graphics are a prevalent part of a

post match conference and along with the advertising board, probably the most recognisable piece of iconography. Not only is it a feature that adds authenticity to our interview scene but use of multi media improves our work as a media piece. After researching we found a graphic from a post match conference from ITV in May 2014. We felt it had the right feel and colour scheme to it and could use it as a starting point for our own graphic.

Similarities & DifferencesSimilarities: 1.With our piece of work we really liked the idea of having the name and team included on the graphic. 2.We also liked the idea of a two tone colour scheme.3.The bright fade on the far right corner of the graphic adds to the feel of our logo being one that is quite close to the actual level used in football.

Differences: 1.Instead of having the logo on the far left corner we decided to add our own programming logo on the side as we have included that logo on our advertising board and creates the idea of the professional broadcasting level. 2.On the ITV logo there is much more of a separation in the name and team of the interviewee.3.Instead of having the same colour writing for name and team (like the ITV logo) we have decided to make the coaches name and his team separate as the names of our character and team are not as iconic as Gareth Bale or Real Madrid so emphasises the difference.
