INTRODUCTIONSome students find English as a difficult subject, they may take more time to learn, understand, and remember while some other find it quite easy subject. To cater the need of all these learner, Self Learning Material was developed by the investigator. This material was uploaded on the specially designed and developed Website to make it easily assessable for the learner. The main objective of this study was to develop Self Learning Material of English Grammar for the Students of Junior Colleges and study its effectiveness in terms of Concept Attainment of English Grammar
OBJECTIVEThe main objective of this study was to develop
Digitalized Self Learning Material ( DSLM) of English grammar for the students of junior colleges.
The second objective was to compare adjusted mean scores of Concept Attainment of English grammar concepts of students learnt through DSLM and Conventional Method by considering Pre concept attainment of English Grammar Concepts as covariate
Junior College: - In Maharashtra the word Junior college was used for the class XI and XII.
SAMPLE
Using Multi Stage sampling Technique, eight junior colleges from Jalgaon District were selected. In Maharashtra English is taught as compulsory subject in the Junior College.
All these eight collages have Arts, Commerce and Science stream. Total 805 students were selected as a sample for the study.
DESIGN
The present study employed Non-equivalent Control Group Design.

TOOLS Digitalized Self Learning Material: The material
was developed in the form of Concept Map, PLM, PPT and Mind Map. Website www.learngrammareasy.com, was specially developed by the Investigator to upload the Self Learning Material .
Concept Attainment Test:- data was collected with the help Concept Attainment Test developed by the Investigator
PROCEDURE FOR DATA COLLECTION
Two groups were formed. Experimental group learnt the English grammar
topics with the help of website while control group learnt the English Grammar
topics by following conventional method. The test of English Grammar Concept Attainment
was administered on both the groups. The students of experimental group were
demonstrated the use of web site www.learngrammareasy.com for the self study of grammar.
fifteen days were suggested for the study of each topic
feed beck sessionConcept wise online test, practice tutorial
were also uploaded At the end of the treatment, English Grammar
Concept Attainment Test was again administered on both the groups
FINDING AND DISCUSSION
The first objective was to develop Digitalized Self Learning Material, It was developed in various form like Concept Maps, Mind Maps, Flow Chart, and PLM by the investigator. This material was uploaded on the specially designed and developed website www.learngrammareasy.com to make it easily assessable for the students.
The data related to the second objective was analyzed with the help of Adjusted Mean and Analysis of Covariance. The results are given in Table 1.2
Table 1.2: Summary of ANCOVA of Concept Attainment of English Grammar Concepts by considering Pre-Attainment of English Grammar Concepts as Covariate
Source of Variance Df SSy.x MSSy.x Fy.x
Treatment 1 436.14 436.14 38.18**
Error 761 8693.78 11.424
Total 764 580815
From Table 1.2, it can be seen that the adjusted F- value is 38.18, which is significant at 0.01 level with df = 1/761. It indicates that the adjusted mean scores of Concept attainment of English Grammar Concepts DSLM group(28.09) and Conventional Method (CM) Group (2.57) differed significantly.
