The famous story, “The Tattered Blanket” is written by Kamala Das. It is the

translation of the famous Malayalam story “Keeri Polija Chakkalas”. First two

paragraphs shows the pathetic condition of a mother who has lost their memory and the

arrival of her son after a long time.
