Initial Response to the Brief
Matthew McMinn
Song ChoiceSong: Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)Band: My Chemical RomanceAlbum: Danger DaysLength: 3:26 (minutes:seconds)
I chose this song because it is fast paced and interesting. It should be relatively easy to come up with ideas to put into a music video, however there are also another 3 options to choose from as we are working in a group of 4. Also I have listened to the song multiple times so I would not get bored working with this track.
DigipakMy idea for the digipak was
to have on the cover Na Na Na…etc starting off large at the front and then gradually getting smaller as if linked together like a train. Then the information on the front would include “+bonus DVD” and “My Chemical Romance” (the name of the band).

Music Video Initial Thoughts1) The band would be playing on an underground train.2) Thief and policeman chasing through the street through large crowds. Thief has money
in a money bag with a “£” on it.3) Cut back to the band on the train during certain verses of the song.4) During the chorus a food fight in a civilised environments goes on. Parents at the head
of the table in disgust.5) At some point nearer the end of the video and apple crashes through the window of
the house during the food fight.
The apple hits the thief on the head knocking him over, the policeman catches up too the thief.
6) Views of the band, need close-ups of them playing their instruments.7) At the very end the thief escapes hoping on the underground train8) The band is confused and are unknowing of what to do9) Graffiti paintings of rail tracks on the walls

Also have more of the band in the background playing their instruments behind the guitarist.
Not quite sure how to fill this space.
