Cinema has several meanings like a movie, film making, etc. But many people refer it as a movie theatre.

Following the screening of the lumiere brothers moving pictures in London (1895) cinema became a sensation across Europe and by July 1896 the lumiere films had been in show in Bombay.

Hindi CinemaHindi cinema language film industry of

Mumbai also known as Bollywood is the largest popular branch of Indian cinema.

Hindi cinema originally analyze issues of caste and culture in Films like:

Acchut kanya Sujata. International visibility came to the

industry with films "Raj Kapoor's Awara".

A number of magazines such as : Filmfare Stardust Cineblize etc., become popular.

Gujarati Cinema The film industry of Gujarati started its

journey in 1932.Gujarati cinema has gained popularity among the religion film industry in India.

Gujarati cinema is always based on script from mythology to history and social to political.

Gujarati cinema has experimented with stories and issues from the Indian society.

The first Gujarati movie Narsinh Mehta was released in the year 1932 directed by Nanubhai Vakil. this movie was based on the life of narsinh Mehta.

Gujarati films thus proceeded with several other important social ,political as well as religious issues.

The Gujarati movies such as Kariyavar direted by chaturbhuj Doshi, Vadilona vanke directed by Ramchandra Thakur, and Gadano bel directed by Ratibhai puntar brought immense success to the industry.

The problem of modernisation are the underlying concern of several films. For example the movie gadano Bel had strong realism and reformism.

Marathi cinema is the films produced in the Marathi language in the state of Maharashtra, India.

Marathi cinema is one of the oldest industry in Indian cinema.

The first Marathi talkie film , Ayodhye ka Raja was released in 1932,just one year after "Alam Ara" the first Hindi talkie film.

There are many Marathi movie ,the list of the best films in Marathi will be very big very few can be named like 'sangate Aika','Ek Gao Bara Bhangdi' and so on.

The Bengali language cinematic tradition of Tollygungar located in west Bengal had reputable film maker such as satyajit Ray, Ritwik Ghatak and marinal sent among its most acclaimed.

Bengali films that have captured national attention include Ritupar no Ghosh's, Choker Bali, starring Aishwarya Rai.

Bengali filmmaking also includes Bengali science fiction films and films that focus on social issues.

The history of cinema in Bengal dates back to the 1890s, when the first "bioscopes" were shown in theatres in Kolkata.

The 'Parallel Cinema' movement began in the Bengali film industry in the 1950s.

Cinema has become the most influential art form of 20th century from its marginal beginnings. It produces highest number of films every year whatever may be the quality of the film, they continues to be the popular mass media. Cinema has specific means to create imaginary time and space, and utilization of these means defines how cinematic a film is! Films are made of stories dance, music, drama, photography, painting, architecture and many other things that we call cinema.

Films mean the particular movies that we see with all the elements they contain and cinema means the some of the means made possible only by film technology which distinguish cinema.
